At Fubhub we love to help our ladies promote their businesses!
We’ll be shining a spotlight on one of our members each month.
This month we caught up with Vivienne Nicholls, Business Development Manager of RentaDefib.
What do you do?
I supply defibrillators across the UK on a rental basis and as an outright purchase. I also supply the external cabinets enabling communities to house their defibrillator externally, allowing the defibrillator to be accessible 24/7.
How long have you been doing it?
I have been providing defibrillators for about 8 years.
What kind of projects are you working on right now?
Too many to mention! I am working with a few blue-chip companies at the moment who are looking to get defibrillators onto their premises. I am also working with organisations who are looking to get bleed kits to be housed inside our external defibrillator cabinets to sit next to the AED.
What is your favourite part of your job?
I am very passionate about what I do and I love advising on which defibrillator suits each organisation. There is such a variety of defibrillators available on the market place to suit everyone’s needs and budgets. It’s also a great satisfaction knowing when our defibs have been used and saved someone’s life.
What do you enjoy doing outside of your job?
I love hanging out with my friends and hubby, Mark. I am very close to my parents and sister and my perfect weekend is having my whole family together, which does not happen very often due to distance and of late ‘Covid’.
I am also part of a group called ‘Light up Winwick’. Five years ago we wanted to get our small village a huge Christmas tree – we raised 5k in 12 months and every year we get the community together with a brass band, school choir and we can have up to 250 local residents turn up for our annual switch on. It’s a great community event. We are now in the process of organising Breakfast with Santa and working closely with the Round Table to borrow their sleigh.
I have just recently hung up my netball dress after playing competitive netball for a few years so now on the lookout for another team sport but with less contact.
Why do you attend Fubhub?
Going to the Fubhub Networking event each month is like getting together with the girls, but without the vino and hangover. I have attended Fubhub for about 4 years and it’s such a lovely and relaxed networking event with great banter and support. It’s like having a second family who are always there to help and support you. I have met some amazing ladies and made some great friends on the way. It’s also very affordable which is also important.
