At Fubhub we love to help our ladies promote their businesses!
We’ll be shining a spotlight on one of our members each month.
This month we caught up with Jayne Shufflebotham, owner of Pink Spaghetti PA Services.
What do you do?
I own a virtual back office & social media solution for busy business owners who need access to regular or ad hoc support, but don’t want or need to employ a permanent member of staff.
How long have you been doing it?
I’ve been working for myself for 11 years now when I moved into Senior Admin Roles on a long term contract basis for large organisations and then for the last 4 years, working with smaller businesses where we really make a difference to their activity.
What kind of projects are you working on right now?
Too many to mention! Blog writing, social media training, traditional PA/EA Support to Senior Execs, research projects, proof-reading documents, minute taking and much more!
What is your favourite part of your job?
Obviously it’s the variety of work and the variety of clients. I love meeting new people and finding ways to improve the processes and activities that takes away the things that are essential to make the business run efficiently but don’t need the people in charge to do them. It’s great to give those senior people clarity and focus to get on with growing their business.
What do you enjoy doing outside of your job?
I pretty much do my day job as my weekend job! I’m the organiser – whether its nights out, weekends away, holidays – you name it, I’m the go-to for friends and family. I do enjoy a spot of creative writing and did lots during lock down.
Why do you attend Fubhub?
When I started as Pink Spaghetti, Fubhub was the first networking meeting I had ever been to and I was really nervous. I didn’t need to be. I was welcomed from the outset and that continues to this day.
I’ve made some really solid business relationships but lots of new friends too! It’s always a great meeting and seeing new ladies join each month is amazing!
